Pre-Owned Sales Manager - sales

Grand Touring Automobiles is expanding as we are opening our new Polestar Oakville location to serve luxury and performance vehicle customers across the GTA sourced from all of our rooftops. We deliver a premium, customer-first experience and a curated selection of high-quality pre-owned vehicles. 

 

Role overview
You will own all aspects of pre-owned vehicle sales, lead Polestar pre-owned retail and brand standards locally, and support group-wide pre-owned strategy. Responsibilities include team leadership, inventory planning and merchandising, Polestar-certified pre-owned processes, profit and CSI performance, online merchandising and sales processes, and local business development. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring automotive retail experience, EV/Polestar knowledge, and a results-driven approach.

 

Key responsibilities

  1. Lead recruitment, training, coaching and management of the pre-owned sales team to meet sales and profitability targets
  2. Develop inventory strategy, pricing, merchandising and stocking to maximize turns and margins
  3. Oversee online listings, photography standards, and digital merchandising to drive leads
  4. Manage wholesale, trade-ins and appraisal process to optimize inventory mix (including EV-specific considerations)
  5. Monitor KPIs (sales, gross, days-to-turn, F&I penetration, CSI) and report to senior management across the group
  6. Collaborate with service, parts, marketing and Polestar representatives to create integrated programs and local promotions
  7. Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, brand requirements and company policies

 

Qualifications

  1. 5+ years in automotive retail with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
  2. Automotive sales manager experience, specifically in pre-owned
  3. Experience working with electrified brands or dealer programs
  4. Strong commercial acumen: pricing, inventory management, online retail channels
  5. Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills
  6. Familiar with CDK/One-Eighty
  7. Experience with luxury or premium brands an asset
