During the extensive search in Zagato's own archives to find photographic material on the Porsche 356 Speedster, a very interesting drawing emerged, depicting an elegant coupé also based on the 356 Carrera. Dated 1959, it indicated an advanced step in the production process; then, also the final sketches were retrieved. Despite the fact that there is no information regarding this model, presumably it was produced and then vanished. The Porsche Carrera Zagato Coupé Sanction Lost took shape and, after the success of the Speedster, it was also produced in a limited run of nine units.
