The transformative journey began when Paul Cummings acquired Grand Touring Automobiles on November 1, 2009, laying the foundation for a remarkable revolution. Paul has been an automotive executive for more than 25 years and has shaped Grand Touring Automobiles into the industry leader it is today.
2012
Lamborghini Uptown Toronto was opened, showing Grand Touring Automobiles' devotion to expanding our offerings to new and greater markets. Providing clients and enthusiasts with access to one of the world's most coveted automotive brands further solidifies our position as a leading luxury automotive retailer in Canada.
2015
Grand Touring Automobiles was designated as the official retailer in Eastern Canada for the legendary high-performance brand, Bugatti. Bugatti represents the pinnacle of automotive engineering and exclusivity, with each vehicle meticulously handcrafted and customized to meet the standards of its discerning clientele.
2017
This pivotal year witnessed the unveiling of Grand Touring Automobiles' flagship facility in downtown Toronto. The grand opening of the next generation of Grand Touring automobiles is a state-of-the-art, multilevel facility, and home to Canada's most luxurious and exclusive automotive brands. This 141,000-square-foot, five-floor dealership became the home to luxury segment brands Jaguar and Land Rover, along with super-luxury brands Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
2017
Grand Touring Automobiles Uptown Toronto officially opens a new and significantly larger facility in Vaughan to accommodate the expanding success of Lamborghini and incorporating a second Aston Martin franchise.
2020
Grand Touring Automobiles brought Polestar to Canada as the first official retailer for the luxury EV brand. With its focus on luxury electric vehicles (EVs) and cutting-edge technology, Polestar is at the forefront of the automotive industry's transition toward sustainable mobility.
